About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Solaris HealthCare Osceola. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective speech therapy programs to improve communication skills and quality of life for our residents.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and training to residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech therapy to ensure our residents receive the highest level of care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC/SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Licensure to practice as a speech-language pathologist in the state of Florida.
  • Prior experience in speech therapy is preferred.
  • Member of state and national American Speech and Hearing Association is preferred.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
