Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
Avante Group is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services to our residents. As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and documenting the progress of residents with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' communication and swallowing needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents' goals and objectives.
  • Provide direct therapy services to residents, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy.
  • Document residents' progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of National Certification Examination for S.L.P.
  • Current state licensure or license eligible.

Physical Demands:
The employee must be capable of exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, equipment, and/or residents. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch; use hands to manipulate tools, equipment, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; lift; and perform medium to maximum transfer assists with residents.
