Job Title: Service Associate

At SpartanNash, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences through our team of skilled Service Associates. As a key member of our retail team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Bag groceries and provide carry-out service to vehicles, ensuring a seamless and efficient shopping experience.
  • Retrieve carts from the parking area, empty bottle bins, and clean bottle machines and return areas, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts, and load groceries into customers' vehicles.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of store products and be able to assist customers with their purchases.
  • Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department, adhering to company standards.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
