Atlanta Audio & Automation is a dynamic and fast-paced business specializing in smart home electronics and home automation. We are seeking an experienced Office/Purchasing Manager to oversee and manage office operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
Role Overview:
We require a reliable and organized individual to assume responsibility for day-to-day back-office operations. The ideal candidate will possess administrative and executive support experience, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls and directing them to relevant personnel
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining the office/experience center
- Managing inventory in the warehouse, including ordering, receiving, and staging materials
- Maintaining records of inventory and operating materials
- Collecting and processing payments/invoices
- Providing general support to visitors and customers
- Partnering with owners to maintain office policies
- Managing the fleet of trucks and tracking maintenance
- Organizing and planning training and educational meetings, travel, and customer/vendor events
- Managing recurring revenue streams of income
- Assisting sales or installation teams
Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Technology savvy
- Data entry experience
- Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to grasp the big picture
- Analytical thinking skills
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Ability to pass a background check and have a clean driving record
