Key Responsibilities:
- Perform therapeutic measures prescribed and delegated by the physician
- Participate in patient education, rehabilitation, and provide interpretation of treatment to the patient and the patient's family
- Coordinate unit activities and assure accountability of all assigned tasks
Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
- Experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required
- Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) is required within 60 days of hire
