About Us: Marathon Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is a privately owned, multi-location practice comprising a diverse team of physical therapists, massage therapists, athletic trainers, and wellness instructors. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in alignment with organizational goals and within the scope of practice defined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage ongoing case documentation.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to create effective Plans of Care tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain timely communication with referring physicians and ensure comprehensive documentation of patient care.
  • Participate in educational programs to enhance personal and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
  • Contribute to the orientation and training of new staff and students.
  • Engage in community outreach activities to promote our services and build professional relationships.
  • Adhere to clinic sanitation standards and demonstrate teamwork and flexibility in meeting organizational needs.
Qualifications

Education: Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Licensure: Current Physical Therapy license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Experience: CPR Certification and completion of all clinical affiliations with demonstrated proficiency in manual techniques, modalities, and patient assessment.

Physical Requirements

Must possess adequate hearing, speaking, and visual acuity to perform job duties effectively. The role requires frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 30 pounds, along with the ability to assist patients as needed. Physical capabilities include bending, reaching, standing, walking, and performing repetitive movements throughout the work shift.
