Role Summary: The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing individualized patient care plans to ensure optimal recovery and function. This role is essential in helping patients achieve their maximum performance levels while minimizing disability.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care in alignment with organizational mission and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans with functional goals.
- Continuously assess patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and communications.
- Ensure compliance with insurance requirements to maximize reimbursement.
- Participate in educational programs to support ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist in training new staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master of Science or Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Active Physical Therapy license issued by the relevant state board.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
Competencies: Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a proactive approach to patient care. A detail-oriented mindset and excellent organizational skills are essential.
Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting patients, as well as maintaining effective communication with patients and team members.
