About the RoleThis position involves assessing and addressing the health and educational needs of residents. You will develop and manage care plans collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and ensure timely documentation of all interventions. Your responsibilities may include:
- Accurately assessing residents' health status and communicating with the IDT member about significant changes in condition
- Developing dynamic care plans based on the identified needs of residents through an interdisciplinary approach
- Monitoring the care of residents closely to ensure that the care plan is being delivered effectively
- Identifying problem areas and using the QAPI process to address them promptly
As a Registered Nurse at Bethesda Health, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing residents' health status and developing individualized care plans
- Providing direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and IV fluid administrations
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident assessments and care plans
- Collaborating with the IDT member to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid RN license in the state of employment
- CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within six months of employment
- Long-term care experience preferred, but not required
- Critical thinking skills and excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift heavy objects, and transfer patients who vary in ability
