Job Summary

The Director of Finance is a key leadership position responsible for the overall financial management of the hospital. Reporting to the Market CFO, this leader will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, analyzing financial performance, and providing guidance to departments on budgeting and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze key financial performance indicators to inform business decisions and recommend corrective action.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and implement planning and control procedures.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to departments, including budget compliance and analysis training.
  • Assist with special projects, such as evaluating new business opportunities and developing related proformas and business plans.
  • Utilize management tools and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement within the organization.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of accounting and finance experience in a large organization, with at least three years in healthcare.
  • Minimum of three years of managerial experience.
