Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise, mentor, and train housekeeping personnel in their daily tasks, including cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms prior to occupancy to guarantee cleanliness and safety.
  3. Implement and uphold service standards to ensure outstanding guest experiences.
  4. Foster positive relationships with guests through personalized interactions and attentive service.
  5. Encourage teamwork and collaboration among staff to achieve departmental goals.
  6. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities and services to assist guests effectively.
  7. Ensure a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  8. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  9. Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from supervisors when necessary.
  10. Participate in training and development programs to enhance leadership skills.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred. A minimum of one year of leadership experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality setting, is required.

Skills:

Proficiency in basic office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office. Familiarity with hotel management systems is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift and carry items, bend, and stand for extended periods. The candidate should be capable of handling various cleaning equipment and materials safely.
