Accounting Specialist Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Verify, allocate, and post transactions into the general ledger.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds for operations.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial transactions.
  • Support audits by preparing documentation and assisting auditors as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, with major medical, dental, vision, 401k benefits, and statutory sick pay where required.
