We are seeking a part-time Childcare Worker to join our team at CHC Addiction Services. Our Childcare Program is part of our trauma-informed, Women\u0027s Services Program, where we provide care for our patients\u0027 children while they utilize our services.

As a Childcare Worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe play environment that encourages learning through exploration and curiosity, strengthens the development of social, intellectual, and communication skills, as well as reinforces the importance of total family wellness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing care for children up to 12 years of age
  • Helping children feel safe and well-cared for
  • Entertaining and playing with children in developmentally appropriate ways
  • Seeing to physical needs, such as diaper changing, restroom use, and feeding
  • Being sensitive to the needs of parents and children

Requirements include:

  • Experience working with infants and toddlers
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Reliability and ability to get to work on time
  • Patience and ability to multi-task
  • Positive, nurturing attitude
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
