We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program team at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals and make a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans. As a Social Worker, you will coordinate community-based services, assess and identify high-risk veterans, and provide crisis intervention services. You will also establish and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with veterans and their families, and provide consultation services to other staff regarding the psychosocial needs of veterans. About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive social work services to veterans, including biopsychosocial assessment, DSM diagnosis, and treatment. You will work closely with other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each veteran. Your expertise in psychosocial assessment and treatment will enable you to make a significant difference in the lives of veterans and their families. Additionally, you will be required to participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in social work and behavioral health.

RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you must have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). You must also be licensed or certified by a state to independently practice social work at the master's degree level. Additionally, you must be proficient in spoken and written English, and you must be a U.S. citizen.
