Position Overview:
As a key member of our engineering team, you will oversee the operational integrity and maintenance of the Central Heating Plant.

Your role involves vigilant monitoring of boiler operations, along with associated systems such as chillers, air conditioning units, pumps, and heat exchangers within the facility's mechanical areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections and make necessary adjustments and repairs on auxiliary equipment.
  • Perform emergency repairs as needed to ensure continuous operation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and rectifying issues with refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment.

Qualifications:
  • A valid NYC/Dept of Buildings Engineer's license for operating boilers, engines, and pumps is mandatory.
  • Possession of a NYC Fire Department Refrigeration License is essential.
  • A High School diploma or GED is required.

Compensation:
Hourly rate of $59
