Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional with comprehensive experience in various aspects of property maintenance, including:

  • Executing daily repair and maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Addressing and fulfilling resident maintenance requests
  • Preparing vacant units through necessary repairs and enhancements
  • Conducting preventive maintenance in all designated units biannually
  • Maintaining cleanliness of grounds and common areas
  • Clearing snow from entrances, walkways, and parking lots
  • Managing maintenance supplies and equipment inventory
  • Communicating with management regarding material needs
  • Exhibiting a professional demeanor and providing excellent customer service
  • Being available for on-call duties, including weekends and holidays
  • Performing additional tasks as required
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
  • High school diploma or GED; trade or technical education preferred
  • Minimum of two years of general maintenance experience or relevant education
  • Experience in community renovation projects is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall, and appliance repair
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 pounds unassisted
  • Successful candidates will undergo a background check and drug screening
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus
  • Universal CFC Type 1 license may be required based on location
