Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a Service Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers find products, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Help customers locate products, answer questions, and provide solutions to meet their needs
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns
  • Engage customers on the benefits of our rewards program and private label credit cards, and assist with enrollments
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including maintaining store recovery standards and ensuring a well-merchandised store
  • Assist with omnichannel processes, including buy online pickup in store and ship from store
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and moving throughout the store
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
