Job Title: Fitness Equipment Technician

Flagship Management is seeking a highly skilled Fitness Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Fitness Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of luxury digital fitness equipment in various residential, commercial, and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform product installation, repairs, and maintenance in a variety of settings.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide technical explanations of equipment functionality and service equipment to the highest standards.
  • Demonstrate the ability to solve basic frontline customer service issues without assistance from a supervisor.
  • Ensure hardware and software of the product is functioning properly after each service.
  • Accurately report and document all equipment services and inspections using Flagship's proprietary Field Service Technology.
  • Communicate with subject matter experts and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) when necessary.
  • Develop an understanding of manufacturer standards, spare parts, and routine product repairs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical systems and the ability to read and follow instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships that represent our organization in a professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to document repair actions and submit reports on schedule.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Well-organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Fast learner who is comfortable working both independently and in a team to deliver a solution-based service to customers.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
  • Able to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds with occasional encounters involving items greater than 75 pounds.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
Work Environment:

Work will be accomplished in various residential, commercial, and healthcare facilities. Occasionally, work will be on live electrical wires, switches, and transformers or various voltage levels, exposing the worker to the possibility of shock, cuts, bruises, scrapes, and serious burns. Exposure to ionizing and non-ionizing radiation is possible, and employees shall use appropriate safety procedures and devices as required.

Technicians are required to travel by vehicle on a daily basis, with occasional travel by air for training and work outside of territory.

The nature of the work requires moderate physical effort, including frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, bending, crouching, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and working in cramped and awkward positions for prolonged periods.

Must be able to operate a company vehicle and have a safe location to park it overnight.
