Your starting salary will range from $55,000 to $79,230.63 annually, with hourly rates between $27.31 and $39.32, based on a standard 38:45-hour work week. Compensation will reflect your skills and experience.

As a Property Claims Adjuster, you will leverage your expertise to manage claims related to accidental and weather-related damages for both residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough on-site evaluations of property damage for various claims
• Collaborating with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders to gather essential information and resolve claims effectively
• Providing exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism
• Documenting findings and preparing comprehensive reports to support the claims process
• Investigating and adjusting property claims with potential exposures up to $500,000
• Assessing coverage and policy terms to validate claims and ensure adherence to regulations
• Negotiating and settling claims within authorized limits, following industry standards and company guidelines

This position is primarily field-based, allowing you to work from home while utilizing a mobile office for in-person appointments. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as you may be required to work overtime or irregular hours based on business needs.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a Property Claims Adjuster in the insurance sector
• Strong understanding of property insurance policies and claims handling procedures
• Knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to handle challenging conversations with a customer-focused approach
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in claims management software and relevant tools

Physical Requirements include the ability to lift, carry, and climb ladders, as well as navigate various heights for inspections. A valid driver's license is necessary.
