Job Summary:
The Concessions Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to our guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role requires a personable and professional individual who can work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Serve beverages in accordance with company standards, including state and federal regulations.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits available, and suggestively upsell products to guests.
- Pour drinks responsibly, adhering to company standards for serving size.
- Verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages and communicate a cut-off to guests as required.
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns, and de-escalate intoxicated guest situations as needed.
- Request additional product or restock as required, and maintain a clean and sanitary work station at all times.
- Accurately handle cash and maintain a positive bank at the bar.
Requirements:
- Accurate cash handling skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
- Bartending school preferred.
Benefits:
This is a part-time, seasonal position with opportunities for benefits, including 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. OVG provides part-time employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.
