Shredding Specialist

VRC Companies is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shredding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure destruction of confidential documents and information.

• Onsite Document Destruction: Perform mobile-based shredding of confidential documents and information at customer locations.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate company vehicles and shredding equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Document Transport: Transport documents, equipment, and supplies to and from customer locations, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
• Truck Maintenance: Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on trucks and shredder equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Customer Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Administrative Tasks: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Reliability and Punctuality: Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform duties of the position.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing customer needs and directions.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate and secure document destruction.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management, ensuring clear understanding of expectations and needs.

• Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a current DOT Medical Certificate/CDL.
• Background Check: Pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
