Job Title: Shred Driver

At VRC Companies, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shred Driver to join our team. As a Shred Driver, you will be responsible for performing onsite and offsite document destruction of confidential information using mobile-based shredding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner, demonstrating proficiency in handling and maneuvering trucks and equipment.
  • Transport documents, equipment, hard drives, supplies, and other materials to and from customer locations while adhering to traffic regulations.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredder equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the truck interior and exterior, as well as personal appearance and presentation.
Requirements:
  • Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform duties of the position.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing customer needs and directions.
  • Meet department productivity and quality standards, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to move records from one location to another, utilizing company security measures.
  • Stay organized, focused, and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to multitask.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and as an individual contributor, demonstrating a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Ability to work overtime hours as needed, including holidays and weekends, if applicable.

Requirements: Valid Driver's License, current DOT Medical Certificate, and CDL Required. Background/Drug Screening also required.
