Network Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team at Isys Technologies. As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure for our clients in the Federal and State Government sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network infrastructure for clients in the Federal and State Government sectors
- Perform network administration and system administration tasks
- Monitor and correct system performance issues
- Apply network configurations and lead/create network design efforts
- Work with VLANs, Cisco ACI, and other networking products
- Provide knowledge of advanced networking concepts and design best practices
- Perform training on system configuration and assist in deploying software/hardware deliveries
- Support special projects and assist operational crews and contractor teams in resolving system and network issues
- Perform security efforts, including working with TACLANE/Encryption
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree and 7+ years of experience or bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience
- Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
- Familiarity with Cisco Nexus, ASA, FMC technologies for Software-Defined Networking
- Knowledge of advanced networking concepts and design best practices
- Agile Methodologies and full software development lifecycle
- CCNA certification
- Experience with FirePower NGFW, switching, and routing with BGP
- SATCOM experience preferred but not required for ACI experience
- Experience with Cisco ACI and other networking products
- Experience with COTS software products
- Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, applying network configurations, and leading design efforts
- Experience with equipment installs
- Working with AWS, virtualization, and DevSecOps pipelines preferred
- Satellite ground system experience preferred

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception, and telling differences among colors.
The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public.
Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments.
Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds.
This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
