Job Title: Store Baker

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Baker to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a Store Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking products that meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, mix, and prepare raw materials according to company specifications and recipes.
  • Form, cut, mold, shape, and bake dough.
  • Monitor cooking completion times and set heat and humidity temperatures for proof box.
  • Check product to ensure it meets WFM quality standards.
  • Ensure temp, sweep, and sanitation logs are completed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
Requirements:
  • 6-12 months retail experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
