About the Role

The Building Foreman plays a critical role in ensuring the corporate campus is well-maintained and running smoothly. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all owned and leased buildings and assets, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facilities-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity of facilities and equipment.
  • Break/Fix Repairs: Perform repairs and maintenance on major commercial HVAC systems and components, including boilers, cooling towers, and water source heat pumps.
  • Specialized Maintenance: Complete specialized maintenance tasks, such as HVAC filter replacements, pH water testing and treatment, and plumbing fixture replacements and repairs.
  • Electrical Repairs: Safely perform electrical repairs and maintenance on commercial systems, adhering to OSHA standards.
  • Café and Kitchen Equipment: Perform repairs and maintenance on all café and kitchen equipment as needed and per code.
  • FF&E Installation: Install, tear down, move, and hang services and mounting of equipment as delegated by team leadership.
  • Cosmetic Maintenance: Complete cosmetic maintenance repairs, such as installing carpet tiles, replacing ceiling tiles, and drywall repairs.
  • Work Order Management: Submit work orders within Corrigo when identifying building/asset deficiencies to be reviewed and assigned by team leadership.
  • Vendor Management: Partner and build relationships with key vendors, such as landscaping, pressure washing, and elevator repairs.
  • Corrigo Work Order Management: Work through assigned Corrigo work orders with high levels of attention to detail, reviewing customer-submitted notes and updating and adding in-progress and completion notes.
  • Customer Interface: Professionally interface with customers and provide support when needed.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot various forms of technology, including collaboration tech, EMS, fire panels, and service provider-owned technology.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Shop Organization: Maintain the maintenance shop organization and supply management, including picking up parts procured locally and keeping the workspace clean and clear of safety hazards.
  • Capital Planning: Support team leadership in capital planning.
Requirements
  • 3 Years Prior Experience in Maintenance and Repairs: Required
  • HVAC Certifications: Required - EPA, HVAC-R
  • OSHA Certification: Required - Commercial or Construction
  • Workplace Safety Knowledge: Proficient in workplace safety rules and regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Possess the ability to stand and/or walk approximately 90% of the day, bend, stoop, reach, lift up to 100 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and kneel throughout the work shift.
  • Power Tool Operation: Must possess the ability to work with power tools, including drills, nail guns, and saws.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong understanding of PDF, Publisher files preferred, and ability to work with Microsoft Products - Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Self-motivated, adaptable, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Customer Service: Superior customer service skills.
  • Team Player: Reliable, team player with strong organizational skills and high levels of notation.
