Accounts Payable Accountant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing. As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process accounts payable functions, including voucher approval and payment preparation.
  • Post credit card purchases and reconcile credit card statements.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation, including sales, capital, and payroll portions.
  • Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
  • Provide support to Accounts Receivable and year-end processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1-3 years of accounts payable experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial regulations.
