Job Summary

Augsburg University seeks a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator to support the StepUP Collegiate Recovery Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and supporting prospective students into the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to promote the StepUP program.
  • Conduct presentations, workshops, and information sessions to engage with prospective students and their families.
  • Maintain a database of prospective students and track interactions and progress throughout the admissions process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, educators, and other stakeholders to increase awareness and support for the StepUP program.
  • Represent the program at community events, fairs, and meetings to engage with prospective students and their families.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, social work, or counseling.
  • One to two years of experience working in mental health or the substance use disorder field, and/or in student recruitment, admissions, or community engagement.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to promoting access and opportunity for all students.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated relationships within the local recovery community.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and social media platforms for outreach.
