As a Mailroom Clerk III at LADGOV CORPORATION, you will be responsible for managing the mailroom operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages. Your duties will include receiving and distributing mail, tracking packages, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining files, both routine and confidential, and preparing mail and packages for shipment. Additionally, you will be required to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have a minimum of three years of general office experience, and be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. A Top Secret level security clearance is also required.
Responsibilities:
• Receive and distribute mail and packages
• Track packages and maintain accurate records
• Organize and maintain files, both routine and confidential
• Prepare mail and packages for shipment
• Ensure outgoing mail is sealed and has the proper postage applied
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of general office experience
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Top Secret level security clearance
Working Conditions:
The Mailroom Clerk III will be required to work in a fast-paced office environment, with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and maneuvering of up to 75 pounds. The ability to push a loaded mail cart up to four miles daily is also required. The ideal candidate will possess general knowledge of an office environment and be physically able to perform the assigned work.
