Key Responsibilities

As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Conducting MRI procedures for patients across all age groups.
  • Documenting and formatting all examinations with the necessary clinical history.
  • Managing patient flow and scheduling examinations efficiently.
  • Communicating essential information to radiologists promptly.
  • Ensuring the imaging department is clean and well-stocked at all times.
  • Engaging with patients, families, and healthcare professionals daily.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by the Imaging Services management.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Associate Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in Radiologic Technology.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Required: Current Advanced Registry in Magnetic Resonance from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Preferred: Experience as an MRI Technologist and a Medical Radiologic Technologist license from the Texas Medical Board.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
