Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist, your duties will include:
- Conducting MRI procedures for patients across all age groups.
- Documenting and formatting all examinations with the necessary clinical history.
- Managing patient flow and scheduling examinations efficiently.
- Communicating essential information to radiologists promptly.
- Ensuring the imaging department is clean and well-stocked at all times.
- Engaging with patients, families, and healthcare professionals daily.
- Performing additional tasks as directed by the Imaging Services management.
Education & Experience:
- Associate Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in Radiologic Technology.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Required: Current Advanced Registry in Magnetic Resonance from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Preferred: Experience as an MRI Technologist and a Medical Radiologic Technologist license from the Texas Medical Board.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
