Your contributions are essential to our success. Every position plays a crucial role in enhancing patient care, and we are seeking a committed Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The MRI Specialist will:

  • Conduct magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
  • Document and format all examinations accurately, ensuring proper clinical history is included.
  • Manage patient flow and scheduling of examinations.
  • Communicate relevant information to the interpreting radiologist promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked imaging department.
  • Engage with patients, physicians, family members, and other healthcare staff daily.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Director of Imaging Services.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by the American Medical Association.
  • Preferred: Associate Degree with a minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Current Advanced Registry in Magnetic Resonance from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Preferred: One year of experience as an MRI Technologist, Medical Radiologic Technologist license from the Texas Medical Board, Advanced Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
