About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Tia, a modern medical home for women. As a key member of our care delivery system, you'll provide comprehensive women's health services, including gynecology, primary care, and mental health support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women of all ages, focusing on their unique health needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to shape the development of technology that supports high-quality clinical care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in women's health, incorporating this knowledge into your practice.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Embody Tia's values of compassion, individual agency, collaboration, and aspirational thinking in all aspects of your work.
Requirements:
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (women's health or family nurse practitioner preferred)
  • Unrestricted license to practice in the state of California
  • Experience in providing gynecology services, including STD screens, UTI and vaginal infections consults, PID, pelvic pain, vaginal bleeding, birth control counseling, annual exams, and Pap smears
  • Comfort with a wide range of primary care concerns affecting women throughout their lifespan
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience or formal training in integrative medicine practices
  • Strong skills in performing colposcopies, biopsies, and IUD placements
  • Contracted with major payers (BCBS, Anthem, Cigna, Aetna, United)
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including women who have experienced trauma, low-income women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant or migrant populations
