Position: Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic

Location: Catawba County Detention Center

Shift: PM Shift

Compensation: $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver emergency medical assistance, including life-saving procedures and monitoring vital signs.
  • Provide paramedical care and support to patients as necessary.
  • Document and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatments.
  • Utilize medical equipment in advanced life support scenarios.
  • Administer medications and conduct procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members, law enforcement, or fire department personnel.
  • Fulfill additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • State certification as an Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in the role of Emergency Medical Technician.
