Surgical Nurse Specialist with Expert Endoscopy Skills Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly experienced surgical team and provide top-notch care to our patients.
Job Summary and QualificationsThe Surgical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing expert surgical nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care and assisting with emergency procedures as needed
- Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patients receive the best possible care
- Serving as a liaison between the surgical team and patients' families
- Organizing supplies and equipment needed for patients
- Administering medications in accordance with physician orders
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing or higher
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical setting
