Job Summary

Prokatchers is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts, days. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular technology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.
  • Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to identify and implement the actions necessary to achieve clinical outcomes.
  • Utilize specialized cardiovascular equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures.
  • Conduct post-procedure review to confirm that all required elements are completed, documented, and that technical quality is consistent with established department protocols.
  • Transfer images and data to the appropriate archival systems and prepare study for reporting by physician.
  • Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and other user maintenance per manufacturer instructions.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in cardiovascular technology or successful completion of Paramedic training program.
  • ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) certification or successful completion of Paramedic training program within 12 months of hire date.
  • BLS certification must be current upon hire.
