Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Supervisor to join our team at Seminole Gaming. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of general maintenance mechanics and tradespeople on assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assign jobs to maintenance mechanics to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Perform routine field inspections on-site and at off-site locations to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain logbooks as required to track maintenance activities and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable fire, health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as relevant state, local, and national codes
  • React promptly to emergency situations and coordinate maintenance and modification projects with other departments to minimize guest disruption
  • Instruct and train others as needed to ensure a high level of maintenance expertise within the team
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility
Requirements
  • High school diploma or trade school certificate; one to three years of experience in commercial/industry facilities maintenance preferred
  • One to three years of experience in a casino environment or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Must be well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in response to changing circumstances and function in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid State of Florida trade license preferred
Work Environment

This role is based in the back of house of the casino, which can be a fast-paced environment with excessive noise. You may also be required to work on the casino floor or pass through this area, which may expose you to second-hand smoke and excessive noise.
