Clinical Behavioral Health Specialist

The Clinical Behavioral Health Specialist will work collaboratively with the dental program and other behavioral health programs to enhance patient support through evidence-based models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs.
- Accurately document services provided in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Track services and programs provided.
- Participate in sensitive topic presentations to staff.
- Follow up on high-risk cases to ensure patient support.
- Explain results and options for support on screenings and referrals.
- Respond to client support in crisis situations.
- Manage referrals and conduct intake, treatment planning, and therapy using evidence-based models.
- Schedule and verify insurance for services provided.
Qualifications:
- MSW or M.A. in clinical or counseling psychology.
- LCPC or LCSW required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of child developmental milestones and social service functions.
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and crisis intervention models.
