Job Summary: ROV Electronics Developer

Oceaneering is looking for a skilled ROV Electronics Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and testing electronic systems for subsea ROVs. Your expertise in circuit board design and production, firmware development, and lab equipment operation will be essential in delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. We develop products and services for use throughout the lifecycle of an offshore oilfield, from drilling to decommissioning. We operate the world's premier fleet of work class ROVs and are a leader in offshore oilfield maintenance services, umbilicals, subsea hardware, and tooling.

Responsibilities:
* Design and test digital, analog, and mixed signal PCBs using CAD tools such as Altium Designer
* Design, code, and test circuit board firmware using primarily C language
* Create test procedures and criteria for hardware and firmware as needed for engineering and production qualification
* Perform comprehensive functional test of circuit boards with diagnosis of faults and modification as needed

Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer or equivalent work experience are required. Experience with robotics and control algorithms or electronics is desirable.
