Job Overview

As a Principal Analog Circuit Design Engineer at Disability Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of avionics and electronics systems. With unprecedented growth in our Controls and Avionics Solutions business, we are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team in Endicott, NY or Austin, TX.

With a strong focus on analog circuit design, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, including fly-by-wire flight controls, aircraft engine controls, and advanced air mobility systems. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing state-of-the-art electronics for advanced aircraft applications.

This position involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work. As a Senior Electronics Design Expert, you will:
  1. Design, develop, and production follow of state-of-the-art electronics for advanced aircraft applications.
  2. Conduct research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components.
  3. Mentor junior engineers and be a subject matter expert.
  4. Design new or modify existing products, develop technical specifications for production, analyze hardware configuration and processing solutions, and test hardware conformance to specifications.

Required Education, Experience & Skills
  • BSEE, with 8 or more years of analog design experience including board level design experience.
  • Ability to lead and mentor engineers.
  • Experience in Analog Electronics Design.
  • Experience with design analysis tools such as PSpice and MathCad.
  • Experience performing analog circuit stress and tolerance analysis.
  • PWB design support experience.
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
  • MSEE with 10 years of analog design experience.
  • Experience in designing for EMI and Lightning Protection.
  • Experience with military and or avionics work.
  • Some experience with RF Circuit Design.
