Job Title: Lecturer Pool - Women's & Gender Studies

California State University, Sacramento is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time lecturer pool in the Department of Women's & Gender Studies. The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses, including introductory and advanced classes, and contribute to the department's mission to prepare students to be future leaders, scholars, and social justice activists.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach a range of courses, including introductory and advanced classes, in the Department of Women's & Gender Studies.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's mission and goals.
  • Contribute to the department's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of Women's & Gender Studies.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or ABD in Women's & Gender Studies or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in higher education, preferably in Women's & Gender Studies.
  • Ability to teach classes with 50 students.
  • Ability to teach intersectional feminism.
  • Interdisciplinary approach to curriculum development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching online courses.
  • Experience teaching courses with diverse student populations.
