We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Development Coach to join our team at Brightpoint. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our staff and the children we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in monitoring the implementation of Head Start Performance Standards, NAEYC criteria, Licensing requirements, policies, procedures, and guidelines in the day-to-day operation of the Head Start Program.
- Collaborate with the Brightpoint Head Start Education Manager to ensure a quality Early Childhood Education program at all Brightpoint Head Start sites.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to Head Start education staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement training programs to support the professional development of education staff.
- Facilitate and monitor the "new education staff" mentoring program to ensure a smooth transition for new staff members.
- Track education staff education/degree requirements and provide support to ensure compliance.
- Attend TEACH bimonthly meetings as scheduled.
- Prepare and submit required program reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times and implement Brightpoint Values in all interactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Two years of supervisor experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Two years' experience working with young children.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, be self-motivated, and function well under deadlines and multiple priorities.
- CPR and First Aid certification within twelve months of employment.
- Valid Indiana driver's license and access to dependable transportation.
