Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Development Coach to join our team at Brightpoint. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our staff and the children we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in monitoring the implementation of Head Start Performance Standards, NAEYC criteria, Licensing requirements, policies, procedures, and guidelines in the day-to-day operation of the Head Start Program.
  2. Collaborate with the Brightpoint Head Start Education Manager to ensure a quality Early Childhood Education program at all Brightpoint Head Start sites.
  3. Provide mentoring and coaching to Head Start education staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  4. Develop and implement training programs to support the professional development of education staff.
  5. Facilitate and monitor the "new education staff" mentoring program to ensure a smooth transition for new staff members.
  6. Track education staff education/degree requirements and provide support to ensure compliance.
  7. Attend TEACH bimonthly meetings as scheduled.
  8. Prepare and submit required program reports in a timely manner.
  9. Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times and implement Brightpoint Values in all interactions.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  2. Two years of supervisor experience preferred.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Two years' experience working with young children.
  5. Ability to work with minimal supervision, be self-motivated, and function well under deadlines and multiple priorities.
  6. CPR and First Aid certification within twelve months of employment.
  7. Valid Indiana driver's license and access to dependable transportation.
