Job Title: Senior Security Command Center Operator

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Command Center Operator to join our team. As a key member of our Security, Risk and Compliance team, you will be responsible for the 24/7 monitoring of all physical and electronic security systems, reporting to the Security Command Center (SCC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to Security Command Center Operators.
  • Monitor and respond to alarm events and security situations based on Standard Operating Procedures or policies.
  • Document calls, alarms, reports, and other events in real-time and across various applications.
  • Coordinate Law Enforcement response to criminal and security incidents.
  • Perform access management tasks, including badge creation, assignment of access, and removal of access based on policies and procedures.
  • Be the central point of contact for the Corporate Security team, answering phone calls, text messages, and emails regarding security and access management.
  • Fill out appropriate logs, reports, and other documents to properly report on the activities of the SCC.
  • Identify and report any broken, damaged, or non-operational security equipment for repair.
  • Work with internal and external customers to assist with questions, concerns, and other reports.
  • Assist leadership in the development of operating procedures and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience working in an alarm monitoring center, command center, GSOC, SOC, other security operations center, emergency/security dispatch center, or other high volume call center.
  • 1+ year of experience conducting on-the-job training and guidance.
