Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Melville, NY.



Job Description

This full-time position is for a School Psychologist to work with K-12th grade students in an Autism classroom setting.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a School Psychologist and be licensed in the state of New York.



Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, identification, and intervention services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support students' academic and social growth
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to support students' behavior and social skills


Requirements

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited university
  • Current certification in School Psychology from the state of New York
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a School Psychologist
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
