Practice Manager Job Description

At Heartland Veterinary Partners LLC, we are committed to delivering exceptional veterinary care and services to our clients. As a Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our veterinary practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue growth and manage expenses to ensure profitability
  • Develop and maintain salary schedules and job evaluations for all employees
  • Provide input on the annual budget and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and laws
  • Establish and execute performance evaluations and internal operating procedures
  • Partner with the Managing Doctor to ensure high-quality patient care and exceptional client service
Requirements:
  • Previous management experience in a veterinary medicine setting
  • Ability to work on weekends when needed and lift patients or carry equipment up to 25 pounds
  • Strong communication skills and computer skills, including MS Office applications
  • Basic math skills and ability to calculate medication dosages
