Your collaboration with both financial and program teams will be essential to confirm that state and federal grant spending is permissible, timely, and accurately documented.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Grant Management Liaison:
Act as the primary contact for assessment, analysis, and resolution of issues related to grant management.
Data Oversight:
Supervise, enter, review, and authorize financial data within the state's accounting framework.
Report Generation:
Create customized financial reports from data maintained in the accounting system.
Budget Formulation and Coordination:
Construct and modify relevant budgets, aligning financial resources for employment and training initiatives.
Grant Oversight and Compliance:
Manage grant operations and track expenditures to ensure adherence to funding stipulations.
Accounting System Development:
Design, implement, and manage accounting systems, records, methodologies, and protocols to accommodate evolving grant requirements.
GAAP Compliance:
Guarantee compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and conduct annual year-end financial closing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience Substitution: 4-6 years of progressive experience in Finance with knowledge equivalent to that of an Accounting Analyst.
OR Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of progressive experience in Finance with knowledge equivalent to that of an Accounting Analyst.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
None required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Minimal travel required, typically 0-2 days annually.
