Cardiology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Pima Heart and Vascular is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a Non-Invasive Cardiologist and be part of the largest private cardiology practice in Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Cardiologist and work independently to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Assess and manage cardiovascular patients, utilizing general health care and cardiovascular exam skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, demonstrating knowledge and competence in basic cardiovascular technology.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Active AZ license or willingness to apply.
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as an out-patient/inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, with a strong preference for inpatient experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cardiology experience, with a focus on cardiovascular patient assessment and management.
  • Ability to function independently and make sound clinical decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
