Job Title: Senior SEC Reporting Staff Accountant

Tradeweb is seeking a highly skilled Senior SEC Reporting Staff Accountant to join our team in New York City.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SEC accounting professional to join our best-in-class SEC Reporting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of the company's quarterly and annual Form 10-Q/K's and quarterly earnings releases, as well as assisting in the preparation of various other Investor Relations documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and/or review of financial statements, footnotes, and other necessary supporting documents for the Company's quarterly and annual Form 10-Q and 10-K's
  • Preparation of multi-currency statement of cash flows
  • Analysis of key financial statement variances and preparation of MD&A and other key SEC disclosures
  • Coordinate with the investor relations, public relations, and SEC legal counsel in the preparation and review of other key quarterly earnings documents
  • Assist with the preparation of other ad hoc financial reports on an as-needed basis
  • Responsible for the preparation of SEC & GAAP checklists, related-party analysis, and memo documentation in accordance with ASC 606
  • Preparing monthly stock-based compensation expense journal entries and reviewing expense calculations performed by 3rd party service provider
  • Preparing quarterly earnings per share calculations
  • Research and assess applicability of new GAAP/SEC guidance
  • Key contributor to the company's finance transformation goals and initiatives
  • Assist with the SOX documentation processes
  • Mentor and train more junior staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of SEC reporting experience, including at least 3+ years of Big Four public accounting experience working with SEC clients
  • CPA Required
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong technology skills, including the ability to use or learn new tools to drive efficiency and automation in previously manual processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities while adhering to tight deadlines
