Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical RBT Trainer to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience in early intervention and ABA therapy to train and support our Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality training and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and support new RBTs in our two local centers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Conduct regular competency evaluations for RBTs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Support 3-4 case supervisors in their professional development, helping them to grow their clinical and decision-making skills.
  • Provide 20 hours of billable supervision per week, focusing on supporting trainees during their first four weeks at Soar and case supervisors preparing for the BCBA exam.
  • Host bi-weekly group training sessions for new trainees at their home center, covering topics such as ESDM practices and ABA strategies.
  • Organize and host quarterly continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs, promoting professional development and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the Partner Clinician and Center Operations Director to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Act as a clinical leader in the center on days when the Partner Clinician is not present, ensuring continuity of care and support for our clients.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Experience in early intervention and ABA therapy, with a strong background in child development and early childhood education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in navigating devices such as computers and tablets, with a strong understanding of data collection and documentation.
