Job Overview:
This role involves the systematic collection of discharged medical records from various departments within healthcare facilities. The primary responsibility is to efficiently convert physical patient records into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) format, ensuring timely access for healthcare professionals involved in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect discharged medical records from nursing units and outpatient areas.
2. Log received records accurately and prepare them for transport as per facility protocols.
3. Conduct concurrent scanning of records in accordance with established guidelines.
4. Maintain adequate supplies for scanning and validation processes.
5. Ensure timely processing of loose report batches.
6. Oversee the maintenance of document imaging equipment and notify leadership of supply needs.
7. Complete necessary documentation for tracking purposes.
8. Verify patient identification and barcode accuracy on all pages.
9. Review physical records against electronic versions to ensure quality and completeness.
10. Correct any identified errors in imaging and documentation.

Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in EMR systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge of document imaging processes
- Commitment to confidentiality

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
