Job Summary:

Centerstone is seeking a skilled Mobile Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a member of our Mobile Crisis Team, you will provide emergency mental health intervention to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Your expertise will be essential in providing face-to-face, phone, and telehealth crisis response and assessment services. You will also be responsible for linking individuals to other area resources and providing follow-up services to ensure their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in need, utilizing your knowledge of crisis intervention skills and Centerstone programs.
  • Assess risk of harm to self or others and develop plans to ensure safety.
  • Make referrals for least restrictive treatment possible to ensure psychiatric needs are met.
  • Respond to calls promptly and create an atmosphere of cooperation with Centerstone departments and community agencies.
  • Attend team meetings, clinical supervision, and complete online trainings as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent education/experience can be substituted upon approval.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention skills and Centerstone programs.
