Middlesex Health Hospital Medicine is actively seeking a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to become a vital part of our skilled and dedicated team.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time day role, contracted for 34 hours per week.
About Middlesex Health:
Our hospitalists manage a reasonable and sustainable daily patient load. The position involves a closed ICU with no procedural duties required.

Clinical Responsibilities:
The role includes:
1. Admitting, rounding, and discharging patients.
2. Providing consultative services across specialties.
3. Responding to Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) and Codes.
4. Distributing morning census to the team and triaging patients admitted from the Emergency Department.
5. Collaborating with specialists for pre-operative assessments and co-management of surgical patients.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be licensed in the state of Connecticut, hold a DEA license and CDS license, and possess ACLS certification.
