Position Overview:

As a Practical Nursing Specialist at ONIXEN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential tasks aimed at ensuring the wellbeing of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and document patient vital signs accurately.
  • Ensure the hygiene and comfort of patients, assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, and dressing.
  • Support nursing and medical personnel with fundamental medical duties, including the administration of prescribed medications.
  • Maintain patient records with the utmost confidentiality and precision.
  • Assess and report on patient conditions, communicating any needs to the healthcare team.
  • Provide clear explanations of treatments and procedures to patients and their families.
  • Change and manage dressings and bandages, ensuring proper healing.
  • Assist in the mobility of patients, transferring them safely between beds, wheelchairs, and gurneys.

Note: We have openings for travel nursing roles across various states.

Compensation Package:

Competitive hourly rate: $50/hour (40 hours per week, covering day, evening, and night shifts).

Weekly taxable earnings: $838/week

Weekly non-taxable earnings: $1162/week

Total gross weekly earnings: $2000/week
